- Character: lightweight, floral, lime, strawberry
Ground with Rancillio Rocky S, prepared in the Dalla Corte Mini. Brewed at the advertised 93°C. Normal grind, slightly longer pour time. Beans looked fantastic.
This one dropped out of the machine like liquid honey. Lovely tiger striped crema and great mouthfeel. Felt rather third-wavey though, with a lot of acidity and fruity notes. On the package it say 'spicy, strong, aromatic', but the website claims vanilla and strawberry.
While I managed to get some tastes of strawberry everything else did not really make it in my cup. In general a good espresso though.
For a cappuccino it doesn't dominate, but still complements the milk for a nice mixture. If you aim for the vanilla/strawberry notes, I'd recommend going that route.
Would buy again ?
It's a great coffee. I'm not yet sure whether those more floral and fruity shots are really mine though, but for a 250g package ... I'd grab another.
