- Character: balanced, chocolate, nuts
Ground with Rancillio Rocky S, prepared with Rancillio Silvia. Standard parameters.
Simple but well done blend. Very drinkable, though it takes some time to adjust to the acidity/sourness of the beans. Works okay in a cappuccino and I sometimes had a hard time grasping the chocolate and nut in the cup.
Would buy again ?
Probably not. It's a well done basic, not exactly my taste. Rather the acidity is on 'the funny side'. Hard to put down what exactly irritates me, but it's no favorite. In general I'm more into exotic beans, and if I just want a basic coffee I could as well get a Mokaflor Rosso wich is more forgiving and works better in a cappuccino.
